Our kids are still in middle school, but it is never too early to get them thinking about life beyond high school.
· Where do they see themselves going to college?
· What types of jobs or careers may they be interested in?
Within our community, there is a wealth of information and experiences to be shared with our middle schoolers. And we need your help! Come share your experiences from your college days, or your job field. How did you choose your school? How did you know what you wanted to be when you grew up?
To help students start thinking about life beyond high school - understanding the differences between types of colleges and universities, and different activities to explore to further their interest in certain careers, SPMS PTA is recruiting parents to act as college and career reps during College & Career Awareness Day. Please help the PTA provide students a broad cross-section of schools and careers by volunteering to represent your alma mater – or your work field - on Friday, April 15th from 12:15 -3:00pm.
